Your first glimpse of the level is a beautiful view of a star-field with colorful planets varying in both size and appearance. Planets are the first bright objects that stand-out among the stars and nebulas making up the background. They are clustered and scattered like a handful of marbles dropped onto a flat, saucer-sized surface. Loose rings of rocks orbit some of the planets while others have chunks of machinery and other space junk caught within their gravity.
Your character is positioned on one of these planets. His scale is exaggerated so much that he is easily one tenth the planet’s size. He is a tan brown furry creature with an oval shaped body. His hands grasp a cannon that is almost as big as he is. At the other end of the screen is your enemy, calmly sitting on the surface of another planet. The camera transitions to a close-up isometric view that flies through the level, visiting each of the players in turn.
You begin your turn and the camera returns to a flat view of the entire level. You select from a variety of deadly missiles and once you are satisfied with your choice you carefully adjust the angle and power of your shot. You fire the missile and it leaves the cannon with a spectacular burst of particles. It flies in an arc formed by the gravity fields of the nearby planets leaving a colorful trail in its path. The excitement builds up as the missile approaches your enemy. It crashes into your opponent’s planet, barely missing him. The resulting explosion takes a chunk out of his planet and causes him to slide into the newly formed crater. You have caused some damage but your foe is still alive. You earn a few hundred crystals for the destruction you have caused. It is now his turn and he will have the same chance to cause damage to you. If he manages to hit you, hope for survival so that you can launch a bigger weapon next turn. This barrage will continue back and forth until only one of you remains. When there is only one player remaining the level ends and you can visit the shop. Trade your hard-earned Crystals for better weapons to use in the next level. All the wins are tallied at the end of the match and the one who has the most wins will be declared the ultimate winner.
